About the Role

We're building Conseleo, an AI-powered governance platform for boards and regulated organisations.

As one of our first engineers, you'll work directly with the CTO to build the product from the ground up. This isn't a narrowly scoped frontend or backend role—you'll work across the entire platform, from customer-facing features to the infrastructure that powers them.

Responsibilities

• Build customer-facing features across the Conseleo platform, from board workspaces to governance tooling.
• Develop and maintain full-stack functionality across the frontend, backend, and APIs.
• Build and operate the supporting platform infrastructure, including deployment automation, background workers, GPU provisioning, scaling, and observability.
• Integrate machine learning services into the platform, ensuring reliable, scalable, and production-ready inference workflows.
• Design and implement commercial platform capabilities such as authentication, organisation management, billing, payments, and usage tracking.
• Build governance and regulatory features that support board operations, compliance, and auditability.
• Work closely with the CTO to design scalable system architecture and deliver production-ready software.

Our Engineering Philosophy

This is not a typical software engineering role.

Our work spans frontend, backend, infrastructure, distributed systems, AI integration, Linux, databases, deployment, and product engineering. The technologies we use evolve as the product evolves.

Because of that, we don't hire based on a checklist of frameworks.

Instead, we look for engineers who can understand systems, reason through complex problems, and quickly learn whatever technology is needed to solve them.

We value reasoning over memorisation, curiosity over familiarity, and engineering fundamentals over expertise in any single stack.

Experience with any of the following is a bonus, but not required:

• Go, Ruby, Rust, or C/C++
• Linux and backend systems
• AI/ML infrastructure
• Cloud infrastructure and deployment
• Distributed systems
