About PopPostor

PopPostor Entertainment is an independent entertainment company building its first K-pop-inspired girl group, KIT.

We're documenting the entire journey—from auditions and training to group formation, music production, and eventually debut. Rather than only posting polished performances, we're creating an ongoing documentary series that gives audiences a behind-the-scenes look at what it really takes to build an artist from the ground up.

We're looking for passionate editors who want to help tell that story.

Position Overview

We're building a small editing team to help produce documentary-style content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through editing, understands pacing, and wants to help build a long-term entertainment brand.

Editors will work together to transform raw footage into engaging content that follows the journey of PopPostor and KIT.

Responsibilities
Edit documentary-style content for multiple social media platforms.
Organize footage and maintain project files.
Help tell compelling stories through editing.
Collaborate with the creative team on episode structure and pacing.
Add captions, music, graphics, and transitions when appropriate.
Meet agreed-upon editing deadlines.
Participate in creative planning meetings.
We're Looking to Build a Team of Three Editors

Rather than one person doing everything, we're creating a collaborative editing workflow.

Editor 1 – Assembly & Rough Cuts
Organize footage
Sync clips
Build the first draft
Create the overall episode structure
Editor 2 – Story & Documentary Edit
Refine pacing
Add interview/confessional footage
Build emotional moments
Improve storytelling and flow
Editor 3 – Social Media Finishing
Create platform-specific edits
Add captions, motion graphics, zooms, and sound effects
Export content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube
Qualifications
Required
Basic video editing experience
Familiarity with CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
Strong storytelling instincts
Good communication skills
Ability to collaborate remotely
Passion for entertainment, music, or documentary content
Preferred
Experience editing YouTube or documentary content
Knowledge of social media editing trends
Motion graphics experience
Color correction or audio editing experience
