About KIT

KIT is a new Y2K-inspired girl group being developed through the PopPostor Project. The group is currently recruiting its remaining members and building its community from the ground up.

KIT is centered around freedom, friendship, authenticity, creativity, and self-expression.

We're currently looking for someone who can help us reach talented women who may be a great fit for KIT and encourage them to audition.

This is an opportunity to get hands-on experience helping build a music project from the very beginning — before the group has officially debuted.

About the Internship

As a Talent Scouting & Recruitment Intern, you'll help expand KIT's audition reach by identifying potential candidates, discovering communities where performers are active, and helping spread the audition opportunity.

You will not be expected to decide who gets accepted into KIT. Your role is to help us find potential candidates and bring them into the audition process.

This role can be shaped around your strengths. You may focus more heavily on talent scouting, social media outreach, community outreach, or recruitment.

What You May Help With

• Search for potential KIT candidates through social media and online communities
• Identify singers, dancers, performers, and creatives who may fit the group's concept
• Reach out to potential candidates and invite them to audition
• Share audition information with relevant communities and organizations
• Research dance communities, performance groups, creators, and other talent networks
• Help expand KIT's reach beyond Colorado Springs
• Keep track of potential candidates and outreach
• Help develop new ideas for finding talent
• Work with the PopPostor/KIT team to improve the recruitment process
• Potentially help with outreach to dance studios, performance communities, creators, and other organizations

• Interested in music, entertainment, K-pop, dance, social media, talent scouting, or artist development
• Able to work independently
• Willing to learn
• Respectful and professional when communicating with potential applicants
• Excited about helping build something from the ground up

You do not need previous talent-scouting experience. If you're good at finding people, communicating with others, researching communities, or creating outreach strategies, we'd love to hear from you.

Important: What This Role Is NOT

This role does not involve promising anyone a position in KIT.

Scouts and recruiters will invite potential candidates to audition, but all applicants must go through the official audition process.

Final decisions regarding KIT membership will be made by the KIT/PopPostor team.

Location & KIT Requirements

The scouting position itself is remote, and you may be located anywhere.

However, please understand that KIT is currently being developed in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The current plan includes a final in-person evaluation on October 31, 2026.

Selected KIT members will ultimately need to be able to relocate to Colorado Springs and arrange their own transportation, housing, and personal expenses. KIT does not currently have funding or housing available for members.

About the Unpaid Internship

KIT/PopPostor is currently an early-stage project being built with little to no funding.

Because we do not currently have the financial ability to provide compensation, this position is being offered as an unpaid internship.

We want to be transparent about that from the beginning rather than making promises about compensation we cannot currently guarantee.

This opportunity is intended for someone who wants practical experience contributing to an early-stage music/entertainment project and helping build a real project from the ground up.

If the project develops funding or revenue in the future, opportunities for paid work may become available, but future compensation is not guaranteed.
