About PopPostor

PopPostor Entertainment is an independent entertainment company currently developing its first K-pop-inspired girl group, KIT.

We're documenting the journey from auditions to debut while building a positive, artist-focused entertainment company from the ground up. As we prepare for auditions, we're looking for a Communications & PR Intern to help us share our story and connect with our local community.

Position Overview

We're looking for someone who enjoys communication, storytelling, and relationship building. This role focuses on helping PopPostor increase awareness, promote auditions, and build relationships with media outlets, community organizations, and potential partners.

You'll work closely with the founder to help people discover PopPostor and KIT during this exciting early stage.

Responsibilities
Research local media outlets, newspapers, magazines, podcasts, radio stations, and entertainment blogs.
Help promote KIT auditions throughout Colorado.
Draft press releases, media pitches, and public announcements.
Assist with creating a professional media kit.
Reach out to colleges, dance studios, performing arts organizations, and community groups to share audition opportunities.
Help identify interview and publicity opportunities for PopPostor.
Maintain a media contact list and track outreach.
Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to ensure consistent messaging.

Qualifications:

Required

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization and attention to detail.
Comfortable researching and reaching out to organizations professionally.
Passion for music, entertainment, media, or public relations.
Ability to work independently and communicate regularly with the team.

Preferred

Experience in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or event promotion.
Experience writing press releases or professional emails.
Familiarity with the music or entertainment industry.
Interest in K-pop or pop music.
