Position: Cybersecurity Engineer - Vulnerability
Location: New York, NY (Day-1 Onsite)
Job description:
LOB leadership, application owners, and security teams
Experience conducting:
- Governance reviews, risk discussions, and escalation forums
Familiarity with:
- VM tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7)
- AppSec tools (SAST, DAST, SCA)
- ASPM / aggregation tools (Vulcan, Brinqa, etc.)
- Understanding of data aggregation, prioritization, and workflow automation
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all vulnerability-related activities within the LOB
- Own end-to-end vulnerability posture, SLAs, and risk accountability
- Coordinate with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams for remediation
- Ensure timely closure of vulnerabilities within defined SLAs
- Track remediation progress and address blockers or delays proactively
