Job Title: Government Contracts & Marketing Fellow (Onsite Startup Role)
• Location: Little Elm, TX — Onsite (Startup Headquarters)
• Position Type: Part-Time Fellowship / Onsite
• Hours: 20 hours per week (Flexible around university class schedules and exams)
• Compensation: $1,000 Monthly Stipend + 5% Contract Win Bonus (Capped at $30,000 per contract)

We are a fast-growing, lean Information Technology startup focused on bidding for and executing high-value state and federal government contracts. Because government procurement is highly demanding, precise, and fast-paced, we are launching our Startup Fellowship Program to find two gritty, self-motivated individuals who want to work hard, learn the inner workings of government contracting (GovCon), and directly impact our business growth.

Key Responsibilities
• RFP Monitoring & Analysis: Review daily state IT contract leads on the Texas Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD) portal, State & County bid portals and federal bids via SAM.gov.
• Proposal Support: Assist in drafting technical proposals, gathering past-performance data, and organizing technical compliance matrices.
• Customer Outreach: Execute B2B marketing campaigns, manage client lead lists, and coordinate initial outreach to commercial and public sector prospects.
• Administrative Operations: Maintain corporate filing systems, update proposal calendars, and ensure tight adherence to strict government submission deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Work Ethic: Strong, self-directed drive with a passion for problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Location: Must be able to reliably commute to our onsite workspace in Little Elm, TX.
• Major Preferences: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Policy, Technical Writing, or a related field.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; meticulous attention to detail is required for reading government solicitations.
• Tech Savvy: Highly proficient with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation, Bonuses & Perks
• Guaranteed Base: $1,000 Flat Monthly Fellowship Stipend (Expected commitment of at least 20 hours per week to protect your academic schedule).
• Contract Win Bonus: Earn a 5% cash bonus of the net profit on any state or federal contract you actively assist in writing, submitting, and winning. (Cash bonus capped at $30,000 per contract).
• Academic Credit: We fully support and coordinate with your university department to ensure this role qualifies for official Co-Op or Internship course credits.
• Direct Mentorship: Work directly alongside the company founder and build elite business exposure.
• Growth Path: Strong potential to transition into a permanent, full-time leadership role as our contract portfolio expands.
