Job Summary For Oracle APEX Developer (Remote, Atlanta, GA)

• Develop, enhance, and support enterprise web applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle Database technologies.
• Collaborate with the application development team to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain database-driven web applications.
• Perform development (40%), design and analysis (20%), implementation (20%), and production support (20%) activities.
• Utilize expertise in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, SQL, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to build responsive applications, reports, forms, dashboards, and interactive grids.
• Integrate Oracle APEX applications with REST APIs, Web Services, external systems, and utilize Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
• Conduct Oracle SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
• Apply knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Dynamic Actions within Oracle APEX for enhanced user interfaces.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues, providing production support as needed.
• Prepare documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
• Collaborate in cross-functional and Agile/Scrum teams; work independently as required.
• Stay updated with Oracle APEX best practices, security standards, and emerging technologies.

Preferred Responsibilities

• Modernize or migrate legacy Oracle Forms applications to Oracle APEX.
• Implement Oracle Application Express security best practices.
• Use Git or other version control systems for code management.
• Deploy Oracle APEX applications in cloud environments (OCI or AWS).
• Integrate Oracle APEX applications with legacy or enterprise systems.
• Utilize Oracle BI, Oracle Reports, or Oracle Analytics as needed.
• Contribute to team problem-solving and maintain excellent written and verbal communication.
