Frontend Developer (3+years) - Wordpress experience

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
• Strong experience in custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other WordPress page builders.
• Strong knowledge of WooCommerce customization, development, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with MySQL and a solid understanding of the WordPress database structure.
• Experience using Git and version control workflows.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Webflow development and customization.
• Hands-on experience with React.js for building modern, interactive frontend applications.
• Familiarity with React ecosystem tools such as React Router, Hooks, Context API, or state management libraries (Redux/Zustand) is a plus.
• Experience integrating React with WordPress (Headless WordPress or custom frontend applications) is an added advantage.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party API integrations.
• Understanding of website performance optimization, caching, security, and technical SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with modern frontend development tools such as Webpack, Vite, npm, Composer, and Gulp.
• Experience with WordPress Multisite, WP-CLI, or Headless WordPress architecture.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) standards and best practices.
• Experience working with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools to convert designs into responsive websites.
• Understanding of Core Web Vitals and performance optimization techniques.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest WordPress, Webflow, React ecosystem, and frontend development best practices.
