We are looking for a strong Technology Leader who can drive engineering excellence, build scalable systems, mentor teams, and work closely with business stakeholders to shape the future of our products.

Role Overview
The Technology Leader will be responsible for leading the engineering function, driving technical strategy, ensuring timely delivery of products, and building a high-performing engineering culture. This role requires a balance of technical depth, people leadership, execution ownership, and startup mindset.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in fast-paced product startups, preferably in SaaS or healthcare technology environments.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
• Define and drive overall technical architecture and engineering roadmap.
• Lead backend and frontend architecture decisions using Python, Django, and ReactJS.
• Drive cloud infrastructure scalability, reliability, and security on AWS.
• Oversee DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
• Explore and implement AI-driven solutions and automation wherever relevant within the product ecosystem.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing application development.
• Lead system design discussions and technical decision-making.
• Maintain engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality processes.
• Oversee application performance, security, and infrastructure scalability.
Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams across Backend, Frontend, QA, DevOps, and AI initiatives.
• Drive accountability, ownership, and performance within the team.
• Conduct regular reviews, feedback sessions, and technical mentoring.
• Support hiring and team-building initiatives.
Product & Delivery
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Business teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Drive sprint planning, execution tracking, and timely delivery of milestones.
• Identify risks proactively and ensure blockers are resolved effectively.
• Improve engineering efficiency and delivery predictability.
Process & Innovation
• Establish scalable engineering processes and development workflows.
• Promote automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement practices.
• Drive innovation and adoption of modern technologies and AI capabilities.
• Contribute to long-term technology vision and business growth.
Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with founders and leadership teams on strategic initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Communicate project updates, technical risks, and execution plans effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering/product development.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership or team management roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Django, ReactJS, AWS, and DevOps practices.
• Experience working with AI/ML integrations, AI tools, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Strong experience in SaaS product development.
• Expertise in system architecture, scalable backend systems, APIs, and cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment management.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Healthcare Tech / US Healthcare domain.
• Exposure to compliance and security standards like SOC2, HIPAA, etc.
• Experience building scalable AI-enabled products or workflow automation platforms.
• Prior experience scaling engineering teams in startups.
