*About the Role *

The Prompt Program & Bedrock Engineer designs and owns how the agents call Claude through Bedrock, and the architecture for how prompts are versioned and released as models are upgraded. This is a dedicated role on larger teams; on smaller teams the Senior Agent Engineer and the tooling/eval engineer cover this scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Design the prompt versioning and release architecture so prompts can be rolled out and rolled back safely.
• Design model routing and fallback across model versions and AWS regions, so the system stays available and cost-aware.
• Design the feedback loop that turns evaluation results into prompt improvements.
• Own how the agents call Claude through AWS Bedrock, including running across AWS regions.
• Manage the prompt libraries, using DSPy, GEPA, or Agent Skill specification where structured prompt tuning helps.
• Version and package prompts and model settings so changes are traceable and repeatable when models are upgraded.
• Re-tune prompts and tests during handover.

Required Skills

• Hands-on AWS Bedrock experience, including calling Claude across regions.
• System design for model serving: versioned prompt releases, model routing and fallback, and evaluation-driven feedback loops.
• Prompt management experience with at least one of DSPy, GEPA, or Agent Skill specification.
• Strong Python 3.11+ and comfortable with test-driven development (pytest).
• Comfortable improving prompts based on test results.

Preferred Skills

• Langfuse experience for tracking prompt experiments.
• Experience managing prompt and model changes across versioned releases.
