We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will be responsible for managing the operational execution of NextWaveSTEM’s instructor-led programs across US schools.
This role will focus on instructor hiring support, onboarding, training coordination, scheduling, performance management, quality assurance, and school program coordination.
The ideal candidate should have a background in STEM education, teaching, robotics, coding, or curriculum delivery, along with strong operational and communication skills. You should be comfortable coordinating with instructors, schools, and internal teams while ensuring smooth program execution.
Depending on business needs and candidate skillset, this role may also support additional initiatives such as outreach, school engagement, and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
Instructor Operations & Coordination
- Manage instructor hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and coordination
- Support instructor performance evaluation and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Act as a coordination point between instructors, schools, and internal teams School Program Operations
- Support school onboarding, program coordination, and delivery logistics
- Ensure smooth communication and execution of STEM programs across partner schools
- Resolve operational issues and maintain strong school relationships Curriculum & STEM Support
- Develop understanding of STEM curriculum, robotics, coding, drones, AI, and other technology-based learning programs
- Support instructors with curriculum-related queries, implementation needs, and technical troubleshooting.
- Ensure consistent program quality and learning experience Quality Assurance & Process Improvement
- Monitor program delivery and identify improvement opportunities
- Maintain operational trackers, documentation, and reporting
- Improve workflows to support scalable program execution Additional Business Support (Ad Hoc)
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during sales demos, customer success initiatives, and growth tracking to drive high-impact school engagement and outreach.
- Take ownership of additional projects that align with company priorities and growth requirements
Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in STEM education, teaching, curriculum delivery, education operations, or related roles
- Hands-on experience teaching or implementing K-12 STEM curriculum, robotics, coding, drones, or AI platforms.
- Experience working with US schools, school districts, or US-based education programs, with understanding of school operations and stakeholder communication
- Experience supporting instructor hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and quality assurance
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across schools, instructors, and internal teams
- Experience working with EdTech companies, school programs, or education-focused organizations
- Comfortable working remotely and supporting US-based schools during US time zones
