Tech Lead (Full Stack – Backend Focused)

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead with strong expertise in both frontend and backend development, with a primary focus on backend architecture and development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable applications, leading technical initiatives, mentoring developers, and driving best engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Lead the technical design and architecture of web applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop and maintain frontend components and user-facing features when required.
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure overall code quality.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects and technical deliverables.

Required Skills

• Backend (Primary Focus)
• Strong experience with Node.js, Express.js, NestJS, Python, Django, Java Spring Boot, or similar backend frameworks
• Expertise in designing and developing REST APIs and Microservices
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience with authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Frontend
• Experience with React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services

Additional Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Git and Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of full-stack development experience with significant backend expertise.
• Prior experience leading projects, mentoring developers, or owning technical deliverables is preferred.
