VRO Asia Private Limited is an innovative startup focused on building scalable technology solutions that solve real-world problems. We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy, build a high-performing engineering team, and drive product innovation from concept to scale.

Key Responsibilities
Technology Leadership
• Define and execute the company's technology vision and roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Lead the architecture, design, development, deployment, and maintenance of the company's technology platform.
• Evaluate and implement modern technologies, frameworks, and tools to support business growth.
• Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, reliable, and high-performing.
Product Development
• Collaborate closely with the founders, product, and business teams to translate ideas into scalable products.
• Drive the complete software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
• Establish best practices for coding, testing, CI/CD, DevOps, and documentation.
Team Building
• Recruit, mentor, and manage engineering and technology teams.
• Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Conduct performance reviews and support career development.
Strategy & Innovation
• Identify emerging technologies and assess their business value.
• Drive innovation through AI, automation, cloud technologies, and data-driven solutions where applicable.
• Participate in strategic business planning and investor discussions related to technology.
Security & Compliance
• Establish cybersecurity standards and data protection practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with founders, investors, customers, and external technology partners.
• Present technology strategy, progress, and key metrics to leadership and the board when required.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4–5 years in a technology leadership role.
• Experience building products from the ground up in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), microservices, APIs, databases, DevOps, and modern software architecture.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, scalability, and system architecture.
• Proven experience hiring and leading engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic decision-making skills.
