Assistant Project Manager (IT)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.
• Schedule meetings, prepare MOMs, maintain project documentation, and generate status reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support resource planning, budget tracking, and project reporting.
• Identify project risks, issues, and bottlenecks, and help drive timely resolutions.
• Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives, quality standards, and timelines.
• Track project progress using project management tools and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 5–9 years of overall experience with at least 4 years in project coordination, project management, or IT project support.
• Good understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coordination abilities.
