Squad Health is solving the number one problem—access—in the $500B specialty medication market. We’re doing this by obsessively solving the root cause of the problem: providers are drowning in dozens of hours of administrative work per week on medications, from benefits verification to prior authorizations to patient assistance. We are solving the problem for providers and, by extension, their patients, by integrating with not only their systems (e.g. EMRs) but with every key stakeholder—payers, pharmacies, pharmaceutical manufacturers. In the near future, a significant percentage of the expensive medications in the US will go through Squad’s platform. Providers will start every prescribing journey by sending the order or prescription to us, and our platform will take over from there. Our belief is that by being the first medication access platform to truly put providers and their patients first, we will transform how they experience the medication journey and eliminate the overwhelming barriers to access that exist today.

We have an incredibly ambitious and fast-moving R&D team because we know how much impact every new feature and product line can have on our providers and their patients. We stay extremely close to our clinics because we know how difficult it is to solve problems in healthcare without understanding the workflows and systems your customers use today. AI keeps improving, but we believe our product should improve at an even faster clip for our market.

As Squad Health's Founding Product Manager, you will pick up that mantle by owning product strategy and execution across our AI platform. You'll work directly with the founders, the engineering team, *and our provider customers to identify opportunities, define solutions, and deliver features and products that drive measurable business and patient impact.

This is not a role for someone who wants to be told what to build or keep their head in the clouds. We are looking for a builder who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys speaking directly with customers, and can translate complex operational problems into elegant software solutions.

We have a lot to do from launching new features and products to further leveraging the incredible data and intelligence moat we have built. You will have an outsized influence on the company's product direction, customer experience, and long-term success.

You’ll report to our co-founder/CTO who was a former APM at Google and Product Lead at Stripe.

📋What you’ll do

• Partner closely with the founders to set Squad Health’s product strategy and key areas of R&D investment
• Work directly with our primary customers—provider groups and pharma—deeply understand pain points, market dynamics, and uncover opportunities
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through launch and iteration
• Develop and execute the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, business priorities, and technical considerations
• Define product requirements, user stories, workflows, and success metrics
• Ensure that product improvements get implemented at scale across our operations team and broader customer base to ensure maximum impact
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure product performance and business impact
• Help build the product organization, processes, and culture from the ground up

🔍 What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of product management experience in an ambitious, fast-moving, high-growth technology company
• Proven track record shipping products from concept through launch and scale
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to drive prioritization and decision-making
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience working closely with engineering teams on highly technical products
• Strong customer empathy and obsession with solving real user problems
• Ownership mentality and willingness to operate both strategically and tactically (especially a close partnership with operations)
• Background working with operationally complex systems and workflows
• Experience building products powered by AI, automation, or machine learning
