Startup Operations Lead / Digital Healthcare AI

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Stage: Pre-seed

Commitment: Approximately 20 hours per week to start, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time leadership role as AtendaCare grows.

Compensation: Competitive hourly or part-time salary based on experience. For candidates looking to grow with AtendaCare long-term, equity may be included as part of the overall compensation package.

Our voice-first platform, Atenda, isn't a chatbot. She's a daily companion who checks in with caregivers through natural conversation, offering empathetic support, education, and gentle guidance while helping them capture the countless observations, concerns, and moments that would otherwise be forgotten between physician visits.

Behind the scenes, Atenda connects the dots, identifies meaningful trends, and transforms those conversations into structured, clinically meaningful summaries that give the prescribing physician a clearer picture of what's happening at home. We're looking for someone who thrives on creating order from chaos. Someone who loves building systems, keeping projects on track, following up on action items, and making sure nothing important slips through the cracks.

You'll be helping build a company.

What You'll Do**

You'll work directly with the founders to keep AtendaCare moving forward every day.

Responsibilities include:

• Keeping projects, priorities, and deadlines organized.
• Coordinating meetings and tracking follow-up items.
• Managing project timelines across engineering, clinical, legal, and business initiatives.
• Helping organize fundraising activities, investor materials, and diligence requests.
• Coordinating pilot readiness and customer onboarding activities.
• Working with outside vendors, consultants, and strategic partners.
• Building simple operational processes that help the company scale.
• Identifying bottlenecks before they become problems.
• Helping the founders stay focused on the highest-value work.

Success in this role isn't measured by how many meetings you attend. It's measured by how much faster the company moves because you're here.

Required Experience

This role requires experience in both healthcare and early-stage SaaS startups.

We're looking for someone who has worked inside a startup where things moved quickly, priorities changed often, and everyone wore multiple hats.

You should have experience with:

• HealthTech, Digital Health, or another regulated healthcare environment.
• An early-stage SaaS company.
• Outstanding organization and project management.
• Cross-functional coordination across product, engineering, and business teams.
• Building processes where none existed before.

Experience with any of the following is a strong plus:

• HIPAA
• Physician workflows
• Healthcare operations
• Health-system partnerships
• Startup fundraising
• Investor diligence
• Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
• AI-enabled healthcare platforms
