Cause & Effect Media is a full-service marketing agency that helps startups and growing businesses scale through strategic marketing, user acquisition, and growth initiatives. A significant portion of our clientele operates within the equity crowdfunding and alternative investment space, so experience in fundraising, alternative investments, or equity crowdfunding is a plus.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and driven Founding Account Executive to help build our sales function from the ground up.

This is a remote full-cycle sales role for someone who is comfortable prospecting, generating their own pipeline, and closing five-figure deals. As one of our first sales hires, you'll work directly with the founder and play a key role in shaping our sales process and growth strategy.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach and networking.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to close.
• Conduct discovery calls and identify client pain points and business objectives.
• Build relationships with founders, executives, and business owners.
• Present and sell our marketing and fundraising services to prospective clients.
• Help build and refine our sales processes and playbooks as we grow.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, agency sales, or high-ticket service sales preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect and close your own deals.
• Experience closing five-figure deals is strongly preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in an early-stage environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in marketing, startups, fundraising, or equity crowdfunding is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• 100% commission-only compensation with uncapped earning potential.

• Commissions are paid within seven (7) business days after client payment is received.
