QA Engineer- Manual

About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Manual Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our web-based products. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to validate features, uncover defects early, and protect production quality in a fast-moving startup environment.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC
• Solid experience in API testing (REST, JSON, status codes, etc.)
• Very good working knowledge of JIRA (bugs, workflows, traceability)
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills — clear, concise, and collaborative
• Test web applications for functional, regression, and exploratory coverage
• Create and execute test cases from requirements, user stories, and designs
• Perform API testing (REST APIs using tools like Postman or similar)
• Log, track, and manage defects in JIRA with clear and complete details
• Work closely with developers and product teams to resolve issues quickly
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and release sign-off
• Ensure high attention to quality, edge cases, and user experience
• Strong knowledge of test automation (Selenium, Playwright, etc.) 
