About the job
About the Role
Outbreak Inc. is a premium platform for AI training and data work, operating across 47 countries with over 38,000 active specialists. We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to own our brand narrative across digital platforms. In this role, you will be the voice of our network, responsible for attracting world-class experts in medicine, law, and engineering while showcasing the impactful AI training work being done by our community.
What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and execute a global social media calendar that highlights "Employee Journeys" and the specialized domains we route, such as LLM safety and clinical AI.
Community Engagement: Manage and grow our presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, and professional communities, directly engaging with potential experts to build trust and authority.
Brand Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives around our "vetted once, working forever" model and our mission to respect hard-won expertise.
Performance Tracking: Use data-driven insights to measure engagement and optimize content for mobile-first audiences.
What You Will Bring (Requirements)
Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or brand communications.
Strategic Writing: Exceptional ability to translate complex AI concepts into clear, engaging, and gender-neutral social content.
Industry Fluency: A deep interest in AI trends and the freelance economy; experience with LLM training or tech networks is a strong plus.
Technical Comfort: Proficiency with social media management tools and an ability to work autonomously in an asynchronous, remote environment.
Why You’ll Love Remote Works (Rewards)
Transparent & Reliable Pay: We offer competitive compensation with weekly payouts every Friday via ACH, Wise, or PayPal.
Impactful Growth: You will support an organization that eliminates the administrative friction of traditional freelance work so experts can "keep their evenings".
Global Community: Be part of a diverse, remote-first team that values potential over privilege and "distance traveled".
How to Apply
Please submit your resume and a brief portfolio of your work.
Outbreak is an equal opportunity employer and a pleasant, supportive place to work. We strongly encourage women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and specialists of all backgrounds to apply as we build a team that reflects our global community.
