QA Engineer- Playwright

Location : Gurgaon( 5 Days working/ Onsite)
Preference : Immediate Joiner/ Serving Notice Period

*Role Overview *

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer – Playwright (Python) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in test automation, web application testing, and quality assurance practices. The candidate must possess a minimum of 3 years of overall QA experience and at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Playwright automation using Python.

*Key Responsibilities *

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Python.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test execution reports.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Perform web application, API, and database testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support automation framework enhancements and testing best practices.
• Work with version control systems and CI/CD processes as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Playwright and Python.
• Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC.
• Experience in automation testing for web applications.
• Knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Basic understanding of database testing and SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

*Preferred Skills *

• Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Experience working in Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of automation framework design and maintenance
