Frontend Developer

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Front-End Developer to join one of our delivery teams supporting a large-scale digital transformation initiative. In this role, you will act as a front-end specialist, leveraging your expertise in modern frameworks to build high-quality, scalable user interfaces that enhance the overall client experience.

You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering robust, accessible, and high-performing digital applications in an Agile environment.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain reusable React components to build scalable user interfaces
• Manage application state using tools such as Redux and React Context API
• Implement navigation and routing using React Router
• Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs to deliver dynamic content
• Write unit and integration tests using tools such as Jest and React Testing Library
• Optimize performance through techniques such as lazy loading, memoization, and efficient use of React hooks
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code using CSS, SCSS, or equivalent
• Design and develop accessible and user-centric interfaces
• Contribute to software architecture and design discussions
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on deliverables
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and development best practices
• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends
• Contribute to communities of practice and knowledge sharing

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end development using JavaScript and React
• Strong experience with TypeScript
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments and manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Core Skills Required

• Advanced proficiency in React and modern front-end development practices
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API)
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Proficiency with Git and version control systems
• Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, Docker, Snyk, etc.)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and TDD practices
• Experience with responsive design and accessibility standards
• Familiarity with design systems
