Senior Hands-On AI Engineer (AI + Full Stack)

Timple.ai is an 18+ AI companion platform focused on creating more engaging, personalized, and meaningful AI relationships.

The platform is already built and live. We are now focused on improving the product, strengthening user engagement and retention, optimizing onboarding and conversion, and building the features that can turn strong user interest into a scalable business.

We are looking for a Senior Hands-On AI Engineer (AI + Full Stack) who is highly hands-on and wants to help shape both the technology and the product.

This person should be comfortable working directly in the codebase — building, debugging, testing, improving AI behavior and memory, optimizing performance, analyzing user behavior and conversion, and developing new features.

We are especially interested in someone who does more than simply execute tasks. We want someone who can study successful AI companion platforms, understand what makes users stay and pay, identify opportunities in our product, and bring strong ideas of their own.

The immediate need is for a builder, not someone who only manages engineering teams. Over time, the right person could grow into a broader technical leadership role based on demonstrated contribution, leadership, knowledge, and fit.

This is an equity-based opportunity, with equity depending on experience, contribution, and milestones. Compensation is equity-based initially, with salary planned as the company reaches sufficient revenue or funding. For an exceptional person who becomes deeply involved in building and leading the company, there may also be an opportunity to grow into a larger, co-founder-level role over time.
