Job Summary

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in that transformation by partnering with leaders across the business to deliver insights, improve decision-making, and help shape how financial information supports growth. This role offers broad exposure to financial planning, forecasting, merchandising analysis, marketing performance, treasury management, and strategic business initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Support the annual budgeting process, including development and maintenance of financial models, cost center budgets, capital expenditure planning, and variance analysis.
- Assist with monthly forecasting and re-forecasting activities to ensure accurate financial projections and reporting.
- Analyze financial results and communicate key trends, risks, and opportunities to Finance leadership.
- Prepare merchandising performance analyses and comparative reporting to support business decision-making.
- Evaluate marketing program effectiveness through post-campaign and seasonal performance analyses.
- Partner with department leaders to provide financial planning support, operational analysis, and capital investment recommendations.
- Support treasury management activities, including cash forecasting, cash management, borrowing, investments, and compliance monitoring.
- Deliver timely and accurate sales reporting and performance analyses for operational and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams during the monthly close process to investigate variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, special projects, and enhancements to financial reporting and analytical processes.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
- CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in corporate finance, corporate accounting, public accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or a related financial discipline.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, or business analysis activities preferred.
- Exposure to financial reporting, variance analysis, treasury operations, or performance analytics preferred.
Knowledge, Skills + Abilities
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP, financial planning, or enterprise software systems preferred.
- Familiarity with treasury management systems, cash forecasting tools, or financial reporting platforms is a plus.
- Ability to build effective partnerships across departments and communicate financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
