AI Automation Engineer (Real Estate Operations)

One of Dubai's leading real estate brokerages, part of a globally recognised brand is hiring our first AI Automation Engineer. We're a sales and operations-first business with 15 years in the market, we're now serious about becoming an AI-native organisation. This is not a tech company. It's a fast-moving brokerage where you'll have direct access to brokers, managers, and leadership to understand how we work and build tools that actually get used.

The Role
You'll be our first dedicated AI/automation hire — the sole technical lead in a non-technical team. Your job is split between two things:

1. Discovery: Shadow our brokers, operations staff, and managers. Map their workflows. Find the repetitive tasks, data bottlenecks, and manual processes that AI can fix or improve.

2. Building: Turn those discoveries into real, usable tools — internal copilots, workflow automations, data-powered dashboards, document generators, listing tools, lead qualification helpers, WhatsApp/email assistants, and more.

You won't be doing research or training models. You'll be integrating frontier models (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) via APIs, orchestrating workflows, and shipping lightweight but polished internal tools that non-technical people can actually use day-to-day.

What You'll Work On
AI-powered internal search and Q&A over company data (listings, transactions, leads)

Automated listing description and marketing content generation

Lead scoring, routing, and follow-up automation

WhatsApp and email AI assistants for brokers

Internal dashboards and reporting tools

Document and contract workflow automation

Client-facing AI tools as we grow

Who You Are
1–4 years of experience, with real shipped AI products or automation tools (not just coursework or Kaggle)

Comfortable being the only technical person in a non-technical team — you enjoy explaining things simply and demoing tools to business users

Can talk to a broker, understand their frustration, and turn it into a working tool within days, not months

Strong with: Python, LLM APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic/etc.), workflow automation (n8n, Make, Zapier), basic frontend or UI (Streamlit, React, or similar), prompt engineering, RAG/retrieval systems

Bonus: prior experience in real estate, proptech, or ops-heavy industries; or experience as a solo tech hire / "founding engineer" in a small startup

Not a large engineering team with infra support

Not a pure ML or data science role

Not for someone who needs a big tech environment to thrive
