About ContextQA
ContextQA is an AI-native software quality platform that helps engineering and QA teams ship faster with fewer bugs. By combining intelligent test generation, autonomous execution, and continuous quality insights, ContextQA removes the bottlenecks that slow down release cycles, so engineering leaders can focus on building, not firefighting.
The Opportunity
We are hiring our first US-based Senior Solutions Engineer to partner with our sales team across the full enterprise sales cycle. This role pairs with a counterpart SE covering APAC, providing time-zone overlap on demos and full coverage across the ContextQA product line: enterprise app testing and AI agent testing.
This is a foundational hire. You will be the technical face of ContextQA in customer conversations, shape how we present the platform, and build the demo and POC motion as we scale. You will work directly with the VP of Sales, AEs, founder, customer success, and product engineering, owning technical discovery, tailored demos, POC design, technical qualification, security and architecture conversations, and the technical close on enterprise opportunities.
The goal is not just to run demos. It is to build a repeatable technical sales motion that improves qualification, accelerates pilot-to-close conversion, and reduces founder dependency in the sales process.
What You'll Own
Technical discovery: current QA process, application landscape, tooling, security requirements, release bottlenecks, AI agent validation needs.
Technical qualification with AEs before a demo or POC: use case, success criteria, data and access needs, deployment model, decision process, technical risk.
Tailored demos across ContextQA's enterprise testing platform and AI agent testing motion, translating technical capability into business value for QA, engineering, security, and executive stakeholders.
POC design and technical quarterbacking: clear success criteria, timeline, risks, decision path.
Technical close on enterprise deals: security reviews, on-prem and private-cloud architecture, BYO cloud and BYO LLM questions, procurement support, technical objections.
Reusable demo environments, technical battlecards, POC templates, architecture diagrams, and enablement materials for AEs and partners.
Field feedback for product: AI agent testing, MCP workflows, on-prem requirements, enterprise QA modernization, competitive gaps.
GSI, SI, and technology partner enablement as we scale the partner-led motion.
Required
10+ years in pre-sales engineering, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting, in QA, test automation, DevOps, developer tools, enterprise SaaS, or adjacent technical markets.
Experience supporting technical sales cycles into Fortune 500 and large-enterprise accounts: multi-stakeholder, security-reviewed, procurement-heavy deals, selling into VP Engineering, Head of QA, CTO, CIO, CISO, or enterprise architecture stakeholders.
Strong working knowledge of test automation frameworks and QA ecosystems such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Tosca, UFT, Xray, Tricentis, Mabl, Katalon, or LambdaTest.
Experience with enterprise application environments such as Salesforce, Workday, SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, or complex internal web and API applications.
Ability to run technical discovery, identify technical risk, define success criteria, and shape a POC around measurable customer value.
Comfort discussing AI agent architecture, MCP, evaluation frameworks, LLM behavior, AI/ML concepts, security, and governance, and the risks enterprises face when agents move into production.
Experience with enterprise security reviews, on-prem, private cloud, VPC, data privacy, and regulated-industry requirements.
Strong written communication: POC documentation, technical recaps, architecture notes, follow-ups that move deals forward.
Self-directed and comfortable in an early-stage environment. You can build the SE function alongside us.
Nice to Have
Background in QA leadership, software engineering, SDET, DevOps, or test automation before moving into pre-sales.
Hands-on experience with AI evaluation frameworks such as Ragas, DeepEval, OpenAI Evals, LangSmith, or TruLens.
Experience with AI agents, Agentforce, AWS Bedrock, Snowflake Intelligence, Microsoft Copilot Studio, ServiceNow AI Agents, or other enterprise AI platforms.
Familiarity with GSI, SI, ISV, or partner-led sales motions.
Experience building demo environments, technical enablement, and reusable POC playbooks from scratch.
Why Join ContextQA

A category with genuine momentum: AI-native QA is changing how engineering teams ship software.
Competitive compensation with 10% performance bonus, meaningful early-stage equity (huge upside potential), and full benefits.
Flexible, remote-first culture with the autonomy to build the function your way.
This role grows with the company as the SE function scales.
