Senior/Staff Software Engineer - Frontend

Role Overview

As a senior/staff frontend engineer, you will own the user-facing surfaces of our enterprise accounting automation platform. This role spans the full breadth of our product — from the agent interactions our customers rely on daily to the data-dense workflows that power their financial operations. Notable challenges include:

• Designing and building UX patterns for agentic workflows
• Architecting performant, data-dense interfaces for complex financial workflows
• Building and scaling our design system and component architecture across an expanding product surface
• Translating intricate accounting workflows into clean, intuitive interfaces that's enterprise user friendly

You'll own major product surfaces end-to-end and work closely with customers to shape what we build. Beyond technical excellence, we value frontend engineers who care deeply about craft, performance, and the details that separate good products from great ones.

What We're Looking For

• Typically 5+ years building production web applications at high-growth companies
• Deep expertise in modern frontend — React, TypeScript, and the broader ecosystem
• Strong eye for design and interaction details
• Experience building data-dense interfaces or streaming/agentic UX patterns is a strong plus
• Comfort going beyond the frontend when needed — touching APIs, schemas, or backend code to ship a feature end-to-end
• Loves in-person culture, we are 5 days a week in office in downtown San Mateo
