Oracle EPM Solution Architect
About OnPlan
We’re a Pacific Northwest–based consulting firm proudly voted the #1 midsize company to work for in the region by the Portland Business Journal. We’re building an Oracle EPM practice we’re proud of — one that delivers big results for clients and still leaves room for life outside the laptop.
Are you a seasoned Oracle EPM Solution Architect who can help lead the charge? If you love architecting elegant solutions, tackling tough client challenges, and bringing a mix of technical expertise and people skills to the table, you’ll fit right in.
About the Role
This isn’t your first rodeo - you’ve got:
- 10+ years of Oracle EPM experience (with a strong emphasis on Planning Cloud).
- Led at least 3 full-cycle Oracle Cloud EPM projects as an architect a Technical Lead, managing a team of developers.
- Designed at least 3 Oracle Cloud EPM applications and would still admit they were those project’s Architect.
- Been in the trenches for 10+ implementations - configuration, Calc Manager, webforms, reports, dashboards, the works.
- Experience with both custom apps and OOTB modules, always with a focus on quality.
- The ability to jump in on RFPs, SOWs, and project plans without breaking a sweat.
- Hands-on knowledge of Data Exchange, EPM Integration Agent, EPM Automate (batch & PowerShell), and Groovy scripting.
- Bonus points for familiarity with FCCS, ARCS, EDM, or PCM.
- Confidence in leading conversations with client execs.
- Understanding that high quality documentation is necessary even if development is more fun.
If you’ve ever said “yes, that’s possible in Groovy” with a straight face - we want to talk.
What You’ll Do
- Architect and lead implementations end-to-end.
- Deliver work that makes clients say “wow,” not just “thanks.”
- Collaborate with teammates, clients, and partners (yes, cameras on — even on rainy days).
- Stay proactive and responsive, because deadlines don’t wait.
- Be the go-to expert in the room for all things Oracle EPM.
