About the Role

We're looking for a curious and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our marketing team in Bangalore. You'll work closely with our SEO and content teams to help improve our organic search presence, conduct research, and support ongoing optimization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Perform keyword research and competitor analysis
• Assist with on-page SEO audits (meta tags, headings, internal linking, page speed)
• Support content brief creation based on search intent
• Track and report on keyword rankings and organic traffic using tools like Google Search Console and SEMrush/Ahrefs
• Help with technical SEO tasks such as identifying crawl errors and broken links
• Assist in building and monitoring backlink strategies
• Update and optimize existing content for better rankings
• Collaborate with the content and development teams

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and how search engines work
• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or tools like SEMrush / Ahrefs is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Self-motivated and eager to learn

Nice to Have

• Experience with WordPress or any CMS
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
• Prior experience writing SEO-optimized content
