Controls & Testing Engineer

Support the development, calibration, and validation of vehicle control systems for EV
platforms. Assist in setting up test rigs, running structured test protocols, and analyzing results to improve system performance and reliability across subsystems.

Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in developing and calibrating control logic for EV subsystems — throttle, braking, torque
vectoring.
● Set up and run structured test protocols for hardware and software validation.
● Collect, log, and analyze test data to identify performance gaps and failure modes.
● Support HIL/SIL testing and real-world vehicle trials.
● Collaborate with firmware and electronics teams to close control loop issues.
● Maintain test documentation, calibration records, and validation reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automotive Engineering.
● Zero or 1+ years of experience in controls, testing, or vehicle dynamics.
● Basic understanding of control systems theory — PID, state machines, feedback loops.
● Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent simulation tools.
● Comfort with lab instruments and data logging setups.
● Structured, detail-oriented approach to testing and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Academic or project experience in vehicle dynamics, HIL testing, or control system design.
● Exposure to CAN bus tools — CANalyzer, CANoe, or equivalent.
● Basic knowledge of EV powertrain architecture and control strategies.
