*Position Overview *
Sanctory is seeking a highly motivated UI/UX Design Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about sustainable sourcing, artisan-led production, and quality assurance at the grassroots level.
As a UI/UX Design Intern you will work closely with our product, and engineering teams to create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences. Your role will involve understanding user behavior, assisting in designing interfaces, and contributing to the overall product experience. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with senior designers and leadership to shape product journeys, improve usability, and refine our design systems while contributing to real-world projects.
*Key Responsibilities: *
- Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into engaging design solutions.
- Support the development and maintenance of design systems, style guides, and UI components.
- Analyze user feedback and behavior to identify areas for improvement in the user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
*What We’re Looking For *
- A background or strong interest in UI/UX design, human-computer interaction, or visual design.
- Knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and usability.
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a user-first mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio (academic or personal projects) demonstrating design thinking and creativity.

Task 1: Packaging Design (Mailer Box)
Design a mailer box with the following specifications:
Dimensions: 12 × 12 × 6 inches
Material: Brown kraft paper (natural texture and color)
Style: Premium, earthy, and organic
Deliverables: 3D mockup
Task 2: Product Page Design (Ghee Product)
Design a product page for ghee that aligns with our existing homepage.
Objective:
Maintain visual consistency while creating a clean, modern, and conversion-focused layout.
Suggested sections:
Product hero (images, title, pricing, CTA)
Key benefits / differentiators
Product details (origin, ingredients, process)
Trust signals (reviews, certifications, etc.)
Guidelines:
Follow the typography, color palette, and spacing system from the homepage
Ensure clarity, hierarchy, and usability
Deliverables:
Desktop design (required)
