Job Description: Founding CTO (Equity-Based / Early-Stage Startup)

Location: Remote / Hybrid
Compensation: Equity-Based + Stipend (₹10,000 – ₹15,000/month initially)
Type: Founding Team / Part-Time to Full-Time Transition

Role Overview

We are looking for a Founding CTO to lead the technology vision and architecture of a deep-tech platform spanning AI, Blockchain, IoT, and Sensor Systems. This role is for someone who wants to build from 0→1, take ownership, and grow into a long-term leadership position.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall technology roadmap

• Architect scalable systems across:

  • AI platforms (agentic systems, automation)
  • Blockchain infrastructure (tokens, traceability, decentralized systems)
  • IoT + Edge AI (smart sensors, devices)

• Lead development of MVPs and prototypes

• Build and manage the initial tech team

• Make key decisions on:

  • Tech stack
  • Infrastructure
  • Security and scalability

• Collaborate on product strategy and investor discussions

• Ensure fast execution with startup-level agility

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in one or more:

  • Full-stack development
  • AI/ML systems
  • Embedded/IoT systems
  • Blockchain/Web3

• Experience building or contributing to end-to-end products

• Understanding of system architecture and scalability

• Ability to work in uncertain, fast-moving environments

Preferred Experience

• Previous startup or founding team experience

• Exposure to:

  • Edge AI / sensor integration
  • Distributed systems / blockchain
  • SaaS or platform development

• Open-source contributions or strong project portfolio
