Role Overview
We are seeking a Sensor Materials Development Associate to work specifically on material-level innovation for sensors. The role focuses on developing, testing, and optimizing materials used as sensing elements for applications such as wearable devices, environmental monitoring, and smart systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test functional materials for sensors (conductive, piezoresistive, capacitive, bio-compatible materials)
- Assist in material synthesis and preparation (polymers, composites, nanomaterials, thin films)
- Perform material characterization (electrical, mechanical, thermal response related to sensing)
- Support fabrication of sensing layers (coating, deposition, printing techniques)
- Analyze how material properties impact sensor sensitivity, accuracy, and stability
- Document experimental results and optimize material performance
- Work on material durability, flexibility, and environmental resistance
Required Qualifications
Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in:
* Materials Science
* Chemical Engineering
* Nanotechnology
* Applied Chemistry
Basic understanding of:
* Functional materials and composites
* Electrical properties of materials (resistivity, conductivity)
* Material behavior under stress/temperature
Preferred Skills
Exposure to:
* Nanomaterials (graphene, CNTs, metal oxides)
* Thin-film deposition or coating techniques
* Flexible or wearable materials
* Basic lab experience in material synthesis or testing
* Data recording and analysis (Excel / basic Python)
