About the job

Location: Remote
Hours: 20 hours per week, flexible schedule
Compensation: Equity-only, for now

Internet Sciences Inc (https://internetsciences.co/) is a forward-thinking technology startup delivering cutting-edge solutions that empower businesses to harness the full potential of the internet. Our mission is to create innovative software for our customers and build our own products that enable seamless data processing and management across diverse sectors. We have partnered with a European service provider, and our newest services recently launched.

We are looking for multiple talented C#/Blazor Software Engineers to join our global development team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). You will help design and ship real products: dashboards, customer-facing portals, and internal tools that solve genuine, complex problems for users around the world. You will collaborate directly with US and international teams, influence architecture decisions, and watch your work reach real users — not just demos.

If you love the .NET ecosystem and want to build something that matters — with real ownership, creative freedom, and a stake in what you create — read on.

Why Join Us?
• Ground-floor equity in a startup with real revenue trajectory and a growing partner network. As milestones and revenue grow, so does the path to cash compensation and full-time roles.
• Ship code that reaches users. Work on production features across IoT data visualization, customer web portals, and operational tooling — a diverse and exciting mix, week over week.
• Full creative ownership. You are not a ticket-taker here. Design your own solutions, push your ideas, and grow your role as you see fit.
• Global teams, real problems. Collaborate with engineers and partners across the US and Europe. Influence how products work at scale.
• ~20 hours/week, fully remote, flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and build Blazor WebAssembly or Blazor Server applications — including IoT dashboards, data-rich customer portals, and internal operational tools.
• Develop and maintain ASP.NET Core back-end services, REST APIs, and integrations with third-party platforms.
• Own features end-to-end: from data model and API design through to polished, accessible UI components.
• Work with Entity Framework Core and SQL to design and evolve data models.
• Collaborate in sprint cycles with developers, QA, and DevOps to ship reliable, well-tested software.
• Participate in architecture and code-review discussions — your voice matters on this team.
• Follow CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions and contribute to deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor across the stack to ensure performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem (ASP.NET Core, EF Core).
• Hands-on experience building Blazor (Server or WebAssembly) applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of REST API design and consumption.
• Experience with SQL and relational database design.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly across time zones.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with data visualization libraries or charting tools within .NET/Blazor.
• Familiarity with AWS or Azure services (S3, RDS, App Services, etc.).
• Exposure to Docker and container-based deployment workflows.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Experience integrating IoT data streams or real-time signal processing into web UIs.
• Comfort working across front-end and back-end concerns (full-stack is a bonus).
• Enthusiasm for working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where you help define the process.

How to Apply
Please include the following in your application:
• Your preference for Blazor Server vs. Blazor WebAssembly and any FE/BE/Full-stack leanings.
• Two links (a repo or PR, plus something you have shipped to real users).
• Your time zone and weekly availability.

If you are a self-driven engineer excited by the .NET ecosystem, eager to solve real-world problems, and ready to grow alongside a company where your work truly matters — we would love to hear from you!

Internet Sciences Inc is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
