Full Stack Engineer (Next.js / Supabase)

We’re building Telmi, an early-stage EdTech product helping learners build speaking, confidence, and thinking skills through podcast-style activities used in schools, clubs, and at home.

We already have:

• a working prototype
• pilot schools ready
• fast iteration cycles
• real product decisions happening now

We’re looking for a strong full stack engineer to help us turn the prototype into a stable, production-ready product.

What you’ll do

• build product features end-to-end across frontend and backend
• improve prototype code into cleaner, more maintainable production code
• contribute to key areas like activities, dashboards, recording flows, and internal tools
• integrate APIs and third-party services
• help implement product analytics
• work closely with founders on product and UX decisions

Stack

• React / Next.js
• Supabase
• Vercel
• browser-based audio workflows
• AI-assisted development tools like Claude, Cursor, and v0.dev

What we’re looking for

• 2–5 years of engineering experience
• strong JavaScript / TypeScript
• solid React experience
• backend/API/database experience
• comfortable working independently in an early-stage startup
• comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day development

Strong plus

• Supabase experience
• MVP / startup product experience
• product-minded engineering
• audio/media experience

Working setup

• remote
• minimum 6 hours overlap with UK timezone
• contract role
• starts with a paid project-based engagement, with the goal of a longer-term fit
