Software Developer Intern (AI-Assisted Development)

About Us
WTFox AI is an early stage startup building an AI powered sales intelligence platform. We help sales teams capture, analyze, and act on customer conversations across channels such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and email. Our product uses AI to extract leads, opportunities, and action items so teams can work faster and more effectively.
We are a small, fast-moving team where every person has real impact. AI assisted development is a normal part of our workflow and helps us move quickly while keeping quality high.

The Role
You'll work directly on our product as a software developer, building real features that go to production. Our platform includes messaging, lead management, dashboards, settings, and workflows, and we want to keep improving the overall experience.
You do not need to know our full stack before joining. What matters most is that you can code, learn fast, and work through unfamiliar problems with good judgment.

What You'll Actually Do
•⁠ ⁠Build new features end-to-end: from database to API to user interface
•⁠ ⁠Improve and polish existing pages and workflows in our web application
•⁠ ⁠Fix bugs, improve error handling, and make things work better
•⁠ ⁠Write and run tests to make sure things don't break
•⁠ ⁠Work with AI extraction pipelines (prompts, structured outputs, evaluation)
•⁠ ⁠Contribute ideas to product and technical discussions

What We're Looking For
•⁠ ⁠You can code. You've built something: a personal project, a class assignment, a hackathon app, anything. Language doesn't matter (Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, whatever). We care that you understand programming fundamentals: variables, functions, loops, data structures, APIs.
•⁠ ⁠You're comfortable with AI coding tools. You've used ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to help you write code. You understand that AI output needs review and judgment, not blind copy-paste.
•⁠ ⁠You learn fast by doing. You don't freeze when you see an unfamiliar codebase or technology. You read the code, ask the AI, try things, and figure it out.
•⁠ ⁠You understand the basics of web development. You have a general idea of how frontend, backend, APIs, and databases fit together.
•⁠ ⁠You are reliable, curious, and willing to take ownership

Nice to Have
•⁠ ⁠You've used Git and GitHub for version control
•⁠ ⁠You've worked with any frontend framework (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte)
•⁠ ⁠You've built or consumed a REST API
•⁠ ⁠You've done anything with LLMs beyond chatting (prompt engineering, API calls, building tools)
•⁠ ⁠You've used Docker or deployed something to the cloud
