Software Engineer

About us

WTFox AI is an early-stage Singapore startup building an AI-powered sales intelligence platform. Sales teams run their customer conversations on WhatsApp, Telegram and email, and our AI pulls out the leads, opportunities and action items buried in them so the team can move faster.

And our software is built fully agentic. AI agents do much of the building and testing, and our engineers direct, review and orchestrate them. We're a small team where every person has real impact.

The role

This is a full-time engineering role for a fresh grad or someone with up to 2 years of experience. You'll build features that go straight to production and own them after they ship. The platform covers messaging, lead management, dashboards, settings and workflows, and there's plenty left to build.

You'll work closely with our CTO, and you'll get more ownership as fast as you can take it.

What you'll do

• Build features end to end, from the database through the API to the UI
• Own parts of the product, not just tickets
• Fix bugs, tighten error handling and keep the app fast
• Write tests so things don't break
• Work on our AI extraction pipelines (prompts, structured outputs, evaluation)
• Run AI agents on a live codebase, and review what they build before it ships
• Give our interns' code its first review and help scope their work
• Bring ideas to product and technical discussions

Our stack

• Backend in .NET 10 (C#) with PostgreSQL
• Web app in Next.js (React, TypeScript)
• Hosted on Azure Container Apps, shipped through GitHub Actions

You don't need to know all of it on day one. You'll need to pick it up fast.

What we're looking for

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IS or similar, or proof you can build at the same level
• 0 to 2 years of experience. Internships, side projects and hackathons count
• You've shipped something real and can walk us through the code
• Solid fundamentals: data structures, APIs, databases, and how frontend and backend fit together
• You work with AI agents daily (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar). You can hand an agent a task, check what it built and steer it when it drifts. Agent output gets reviewed, never blind copy-paste
• An unfamiliar codebase doesn't freeze you. You read the code, try things and figure it out
• You're reliable and you own your work
• You can work in Singapore without an employer-sponsored work pass (EP or S Pass)

Nice to have

• C#/.NET or TypeScript/React in a real project
• Built or consumed a REST API
• Built something with LLM APIs beyond chatting
• Docker, CI/CD, or deployed something to the cloud
• Startup or internship experience shipping to real users
