Frontend Engineer

We are hiring a Frontend Developer to join our engineering team in Bangalore.

You will work closely with product and technical stakeholders to deliver polished, high-performance user interfaces across our web and desktop platforms. From building React-based dashboards to contributing to Electron-powered desktop applications, you will play a key role in shaping the experiences used by operations teams and travellers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance frontend web applications using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Develop reusable, accessible, and performant UI components following component-driven design principles.
• Contribute to Electron-based desktop applications used by internal teams and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with the Product Manager and designers to translate requirements and wireframes into functional interfaces.
• Integrate frontend interfaces with backend REST APIs and third-party services.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code while adhering to engineering best practices.
• Debug and resolve UI/UX issues across browsers and platforms with support from senior engineers.
• Support CI/CD processes, frontend build pipelines, and performance optimisation efforts.

Who You Are

Required
• 1–2 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and core web technologies (HTML5, CSS3).
• Solid hands-on experience with React and component-driven UI development.
• Familiarity with state management patterns (e.g. Context API, Redux, or similar).
• Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
• Comfortable with Git, pull requests, and modern development workflows.
• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and a user-first mindset.
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, startup-style environment.

Preferred
• Experience with Electron.js or other desktop application frameworks.
• Exposure to frontend build tooling (Webpack, Vite, or similar).
• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
• Exposure to kiosk, IoT, travel-tech, or operational tooling products.
