POSITION OVERVIEW

We're hiring for a Prompt Engineer at timepay.ai — and this is one of the most exciting roles we're opening right now.

If you've worked in client delivery, automation, process excellence, customer support QA, business analysis, or CX transformation, and you've spent time working with AI-driven workflows or bot-building platforms, this role is built for you.

You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to design, refine, and implement prompts and bot flows using the Timepay format for our clients — across customer support, collections, reminder systems, onboarding journeys, and custom automation.

It's a mix of language, logic, client management, and product thinking — with direct ownership over how our AI agents behave in production.

YOUR ROLE

Responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing prompts for AI models to ensure accurate, contextually relevant, and high-quality outputs. Test prompts against our QC output to consistently refine for higher accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers, and product managers, to create and refine prompts that enhance the performance of our AI solutions. Conduct experiments and A/B testing to evaluate and improve prompt performance. Analyze user feedback and data to refine and enhance prompt effectiveness. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and natural language processing (NLP) technologies. Document prompt engineering best practices and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Pursuing/Pass-out in bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, English, Journalism, or a related field. Strong proficiency in English (Other language is an advantage). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
