About the Role

We are seeking a skilled SDE-II Flutter Engineer to take technical ownership of our cross-platform mobile applications. This is a high-impact role for an engineer who excels in mobile development, drives architectural decisions, and elevates the team around them. You will be a key contributor to our mobile strategy—taking ownership of building, testing, and scaling high-performance apps for both iOS and Android.
Beyond coding, you will actively collaborate cross-functionally with project managers and designers, and ensure polished, native-like user experiences.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Development

1. Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
2. Lead architectural design discussions, implementing robust patterns (e.g., Clean Architecture) and efficient state management solutions.
3. Translate Figma/UI designs, business needs, and test requirements into responsive, smooth, and pixel-perfect Flutter widgets.
4. Connect mobile applications to back-end services using RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and third-party plugins/libraries.
5. Write comprehensive unit, widget, and integration tests to ensure code reliability.
6. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex frontend bottlenecks, memory leaks, and performance issues.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate timelines, identify risks, and ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.
8. Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and lead technical documentation for architecture and software design.

DevOps & Deployment

1. Manage the end-to-end release process, including code signing and publishing to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
2. Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Codemagic, Bitrise, GitHub Actions) and continuous delivery tools to streamline app deployment.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills

1. 4+ years of professional mobile app development experience, with at least 3 years heavily focused on Flutter and Dart.
2. Hands on experience for VoIP, messaging app.
3. Deep understanding and hands-on experience with modern Flutter state management techniques (BLoC/Cubit is required; Riverpod or Provider is a plus).
4. Proficiency with local storage solutions, SQL/NoSQL databases (SQLite, Hive, Isar, Shared Preferences), and offline app development.
5. Strong experience with version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab) and collaborative branching strategies.
6. Proven track record with at least two published, high-quality apps on the App Store and Google Play Store (please provide links).
7. Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, the Flutter rendering pipeline, and widget lifecycle.

Good-to-Have Skills

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. Experience with native mobile development (Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android) and integrating native code via Platform Channels.
3. Familiarity with Firebase services (Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config, Firestore) or AWS Amplify.
4. Familiarity with testing frameworks like Flutter Test or Mockito.
5. Strong skills in creating custom Flutter animations (Implicit/Explicit animations, Rive, or Lottie).
6. Good understanding of project and time management tools.

Soft Skills

1. Strong problem-solving and analytical debugging skills with keen attention to detail.
2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical solutions and decisions to team members and non-technical stakeholders.
3. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
4. Passion for continuous learning, staying current with new Flutter features, and sharing industry trends with the team.
