About the Role

We are seeking a senior-level Software Development Engineer III (Frontend) to take technical ownership of our React.js applications. This is a high-impact role for an engineer who thrives in ambiguity, drives architectural decisions, and elevates the engineers around them.
You will be a key contributor to frontend strategy — shaping how we build, test, and scale our product while actively mentoring the team and collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and backend engineering.

Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Development

1. Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable React.js applications.
2. Lead frontend design discussions, ensuring best practices in state management, component reusability, and performance optimization.
3. Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
4. Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
5. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO-friendliness.
6. Diagnose and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks.
7. Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
8. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design compliance.

DevOps & Deployment

1. Work with CI/CD pipelines
2. Assist in deployment strategies for frontend applications.

4. Must-Have Skills
5. 6+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
6. Strong expertise in state management (Zustand, Redux, Context API).
7. Proficient in TypeScript and component-driven development.
8. Experience with RESTful APIs, and WebSockets.
9. Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel).
10. Understanding of accessibility (a11y) and security best practices.

Good-to-Have Skills

1. Knowledge of backend technologies (Node.js, Express, PHP/Laravel integration).
2. Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).

Soft Skills

1. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
2. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
3. Passion for clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
