About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and collaborative Software Development Engineer II (Frontend) to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will design and build high-performance, accessible web applications using modern React 18 patterns. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver features that delight our users.
You are someone who writes clean, maintainable code, cares deeply about user experience, and takes pride in shipping production-ready software. You are comfortable owning features end-to-end and contributing to team processes.

What You Will Do

1. Build and maintain scalable frontend features using React 18 + Typescript with a focus on performance, code quality and timely deliveries
2. Develop reusable UI components and maintain a shared component library using Tailwind CSS.
3. Write comprehensive tests using Cypress for E2E coverage and Jest/React Testing Library for unit and integration tests.
4. Collaborate with UX/design on translating Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive interfaces.
5. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help uphold engineering standards.
6. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using profiling tools and best practices.
7. Contribute to technical documentation, ADRs, and internal engineering processes..
8. Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Experience
Core

1. 3–4 years of professional frontend development experience.
2. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
3. Strong proficiency in React 18 — including hooks, concurrent features, Suspense, and server components.
4. Experience with Tailwind CSS for building responsive, theme-aware UIs.
5. Proficient in TypeScript and component-driven development.
6. Expertise in state management (Zustand, Redux, Context API).
7. Experience with RESTful APIs, and WebSockets.
8. Experience writing E2E tests with Cypress (or Playwright) and unit tests with Jest.
9. Understanding of web performance metrics and optimization techniques.
10. Experience with Git workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have

1. Understanding of security and best practices.
2. Exposure to Storybook for component development and documentation.
3. Experience with design tokens and design system integration.
4. Prior experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
