Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in New York, NY for a Founding AI Engineer. The Founding AI Engineer will lead the development of TurboMail's AI functionalities, overseeing the design, training, and optimization of machine learning models with a focus on on-device performance. Daily responsibilities include implementing scalable software architectures, refining natural language processing (NLP) applications, and enhancing tools for email summarization, scheduling automation, and voice response systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and contributing to product growth will be critical to this role's success.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, with a focus on software development and scalable architectures
In-depth understanding and experience in Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks
Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and hands-on experience with related frameworks and tools
Proficiency in software development languages such as Python, along with frameworks like React and Electron
Ability to optimize AI models for on-device performance using platforms like HuggingFace Transformers
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a passion for data privacy and security
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field
