QA Automation Tester

What you’ll do
• Test web and mobile applications using manual and automation approaches
• Design, write, and execute test cases from product and technical requirements
• Build, maintain, and execute automation scripts for regression and smoke testing
• Use Selenium or Playwright for basic to intermediate automation flows
• Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps in JIRA
• Work closely with developers, product, and design teams during release cycles
• Validate UI behavior using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics
• Use Python for test logic, debugging, and data handling
• Run SQL queries to validate backend data
• Participate in standups, sprint planning, and test cycles
What we’re looking for
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals and defect lifecycle
• Basic to working knowledge of automation testing
• Ability to write simple to moderate automation scripts
• Knowledge of Selenium or Playwright
• Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge
• Basic to intermediate Python understanding
• Good written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail and logical thinking

Bonus points
• Experience with JIRA or any bug tracking tool
• Familiarity with Postman or REST APIs
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Exposure to cross browser or mobile app testing
• Basic understanding of CI/CD or automation integration
