About the job

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Backend Engineer with strong Python programming skills to join our team. This role starts with a 2-month paid internship, leading to full-time employment based on performance. As a backend engineer, you will collaborate with our AI-ML, data, and mobile teams to develop APIs, handle data pipelines, and build scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for EveoAI’s AI-driven fashion recommendation system.
Develop RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data communication between various systems.
Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to handle data storage and retrieval efficiently.
Collaborate with cloud engineers to deploy services on AWS/Azure platforms.
Contribute to building real-time recommendation and data processing systems.
Work with the mobile app team to ensure smooth backend integration.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
Ensure backend security, scalability, and performance optimization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
1+ years of experience in backend development, particularly in Python.
Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Familiarity with RESTful API development and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience in fashion, e-commerce, or AI-driven applications.
Knowledge of AI/ML-based systems and cloud AI services.
Familiarity with startup environments and working in agile teams.
