We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Intern to join our team. The candidate will assist in ensuring the quality and reliability of web / Mobile applications through manual and automated testing processes.Key Responsibilities:
Understand and follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Write, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
Perform various types of testing including:
Functional Testing
Integration Testing
System Testing
Regression Testing
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Black Box and White Box Testing
Conduct manual and basic automated testing for web / Mobile applications.
Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools.
Perform database testing and validate data integrity.
Create Test Data for different users.
Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports.
Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and ensure quality delivery.
Technical Skills Required:
Basic understanding of:
SDLC, STLC, and Bug Life Cycle
Knowledge of:
Manual Testing (Web / Mobile Applications)
Automated Testing (Web / Mobile Applications)
Database Testing
Test Cases Writing and Execution
Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as:
Jira, Mantis, or Bugzilla, EXCEL
Exposure to automation tools such as:
Selenium, QTP, or IBM RFT
Qualifications:
BE / BSc IT / MSc IT / MCA / MCM or equivalent
Certification in Software Testing is a plus.
Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter is an added advantage.
ISTQB certification preferred.
