Living Stones Foundation is seeking a Junior WordPress Specialist (Volunteer – Unpaid) to support the development, improvement, and maintenance of digital platforms for educational institutions.
This position is ideal for students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals who want to gain hands-on experience in digital education, technology-driven transformation, and social impact projects, while working with an international and multidisciplinary team. Spanish is required

Living Stones Foundation empowers nonprofits and educational institutions through digital transformation, innovation, technology solutions, and sustainable social impact initiatives across Latin America, the United States, and Canada.
Our volunteer network includes more than 70 professionals and graduate students from Top 20 U.S. and Canadian universities, contributing expertise in technology, education, artificial intelligence, data science, digital platforms, marketing, design, and international development.
Key Responsibilities
1. WordPress Development & Platform Support
- Support the creation, updating, and maintenance of WordPress websites.
- Configure and use themes and plugins according to the needs of educational projects.
- Make basic adjustments to content, structure, and layout.
- Ensure websites display correctly across different devices (responsive design).
2. Educational Websites
- Assist in organizing academic pages, educational programs, and informational sections.
- Support content uploads and updates.
- Help create basic contact forms and informational pages.
3. Basic Technical Support
- Assist with basic website speed and performance optimization tasks.
- Support WordPress, plugin, and theme updates.
- Help identify and report technical issues.
- Learn and apply basic website security best practices.
4. Collaborative Work
- Work closely with Digital Transformation, Design, and Project Management teams.
- Follow technical guidelines and receive mentorship from senior team members.
- Support basic process documentation when needed.
5. Learning & Continuous Improvement
- Learn about UX/UI principles and educational website structure.
- Propose small improvements under supervision.
- Strengthen technical and professional skills in a real-world environment.
Candidate Profile
Education & Knowledge
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress.
- Familiarity with themes, plugins, and page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS (nice to have, not required).
- Spanish is required, as all information, documentation, and working materials will be in Spanish.
- English is a plus for basic communication or interaction with international teams.
- Interest in technology, education, and digital projects.

Availability
