About the job
Floe is the spend management and working capital layer for agents.
Most DevRel roles are glorified support tickets.
We're hiring someone to build the agent developer movement from the ground up.
You'll work with agent builders from wide ranging voice, browser, and other agent building projects, ship tools they actually use, iterate, and define what DevRel means in the agent economy.
You're an engineer who ships growth, not a marketer who asks engineering for things. You'll own the top of our PLG funnel end-to-end: open-source distribution, launch campaigns, activation experiments, and the content engine that reaches voice AI builders and agencies where they actually are — GitHub, X, Reddit, Discord, YouTube, and the Vapi/Retell/Bland/Pipecat/Livekit communities.
Your surface area includes our OSS wedge, floe-guard (pip install floe-guard) — a local budget guardrail for AI agents — plus our CLI, docs, examples repos, and dashboard onboarding. You'll instrument the funnel, run weekly experiments, and kill what doesn't move signups or activation.
What you'll do Ship growth experiments in 7-day cycles: landing pages, interactive tools (cost calculators, coverage estimators), OSS launches, integration guides — measured against signups, activation, and retained builders Grow floe-guard and our other repos as acquisition channels: framework adapters, Show HN / Product Hunt / r/LocalLLaMA / r/AI_Agents launches, badge programs, contributor funnels Write developer-first content daily-to-weekly: teardown posts, cost benchmarks, migration guides, X threads, and short-form video that builders share unprompted Own the first-run experience: onboarding friction, welcome credits, quickstarts — you find what breaks activation and fix it in code Run community and partner co-marketing motions with orchestration platforms and vendor ecosystems You must dogfood
Before you apply, run pip install floe-guard and python examples/runaway_loop.py. Your application should tell us one thing you'd change about the repo, README, or funnel — a PR is even better. We will not interview anyone who hasn't touched the product.
What we're looking for You've done developer-first PLG growth at an early-stage company — or you've grown an open-source project to real adoption (stars are vanity; installs, contributors, and converted users are the metric) You write working Python or TypeScript. You can ship a landing page, an SDK example, an analytics pipeline, and a launch post in the same week Strong writing. Developers can smell marketing copy; yours doesn't smell Bonus: you've sold into or built for AI agencies / call centers / CX, or you've operated in the Vapi/Retell/Bland/Pipecat ecosystem yourself Bonus: launched something that hit HN front page or 100k+ organic reach on a developer topic How we work
Small team, high ownership, no committees. You'll work directly with the founders. Everything you ship is measured; nothing is precious. If an experiment fails, we say so publicly and move on.
Apply: [email protected] — subject line "Growth GTM." Include the floe-guard change you'd make and links to 2–3 things you've grown.
