English to Arabic Translation Reviewer

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced English to Arabic (and vice-versa) Translation Reviewer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and editing Arabic translations. The content varies, but primarily revolves around entertainment, storytelling and combat sports, with a specific focus on understanding the unique slang and language nuances used in this context.

About Aview: AVIEW helps top creators and entertainers reach fans across the world by translating and adapting their content for global audiences. We work with some of the world’s largest creators, localizing videos through dubbing, subtitling, and international content distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review approximately 300 minutes of translation per month.
• Efficiently review and edit translations,
• Ensure translations are accurate, culturally relevant, and maintain the integrity of the original content.
• Make necessary edits to lines as recommended by our translation software, and additional edits as needed to enhance quality.
• Familiarize yourself with the specific language and slang used in the client's content to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Arabic, with excellent written communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience in translation and translation review.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for spotting inaccuracies or inconsistencies.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with translation software is a plus.

Compensation: Equates to $20-$28 CAD an hour. Will share more details.
