🧠 About Metry
Metry is building the AI Operating System for service-based SMBs across Asia, starting with the beauty and wellness vertical. Our vision is to automate the invisible operational burdens of business owners through AI agents that seamlessly plug into LINE, Instagram, and other tools they already use.
We’ve already piloted multiple salons in Taiwan, helping them save 12–20 hours per week. Our AI agent MVP is in progress, with integrations to LINE, scheduling APIs, and Instagram.

🎯 What You’ll Do
As our Tech VP, you’ll lead the development of our AI agent architecture and help scale the product from 0 to MVP to market-ready. You will work directly with the founders to drive engineering vision, system architecture, and hiring.
Define and own the technical roadmap, with a focus on agent workflow architecture

Lead AI integration, including LLM prompt design, tool orchestration, and agent execution

Build secure and scalable integrations with platforms like LINE, Instagram, WhatsApp

Design and optimize our scheduling logic, user profiling, and notification systems

Build out our technical team or manage outsourced engineering where appropriate

Collaborate with product and business teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions

💡 Ideal Profile
6+ years in software engineering or technical leadership

Strong experience in AI/LLM integration, workflow automation, or agent design

Experience building and scaling B2B SaaS or API-first products

Comfortable working in fast-paced startup environments

Bonus: familiarity with LINE/Instagram APIs, Cal.com, LangChain, or multi-agent orchestration
