UI/X Graphic Designer Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic UI/X Graphic Designer Intern to join our team and contribute to our visual identity and marketing efforts.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual to gain practical experience in a fast-growing SaaS company within the impactful sustainability sector.

You will work closely with our marketing and potentially product teams to create engaging visual assets that support our brand and communicate our value proposition.

Location -- VERY IMPORTANT NOTE

The role is remote only and we work on EU timezone.
We will focus on application coming from the eurozone only.

Responsibilities:

-Website Visuals: Contribute to the visual enhancement of our website by designing icons, illustrations, and potentially assisting with UI/UX elements.

-Brand Asset Development: Support the development and maintenance of our brand guidelines by creating and refining visual assets like icons, illustrations, and templates.
Content Visualization: Transform complex data and information into clear and engaging visual representations

• Marketing Materials: Assist in the creation of various marketing materials such as infographics, presentations, ebooks, brochures, and website banners.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements and ensure visual designs align with marketing strategies and brand messaging.

• Version Control and Organization: Maintain organized files and ensure proper version control of design assets.

• Staying Updated: Keep abreast of current design trends and best practices, particularly in digital and sustainability-focused design.

Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative abilities (please include a link or PDF in your application).

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign
• A solid understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• FIGMA
• Familiarity with designing for digital platforms (web and social media).

Attitude
A genuine interest in sustainability, environmental issues, and the power of design to communicate important messages.

Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication and time management skills.

Bonus Points:

Experience with motion graphics or video editing software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro). Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch). Illustration skills. Basic understanding of web design principles (e.g., responsive design). Experience designing for SaaS products or the B2B sector.
